I'm Starting Over

Hey Beauty Boss, 

I’ve been thinking a lot about my wholesale business, and it’s time for a fresh start. 

Before I dive into what that means, I want to say thank you to each of you who open my weekly emails, whether you just found me a month ago or been a part of my community for months. 

Starting over doesn’t mean getting a new name or website. It simply means I’m changing directions. 

When I first started I offered a lot of the products I offer for my retail business. I’ve sold body care, face care, hair oils, lip products, ebooks, group mentorship and 1:1 coaching. 

What I’ve learned is business has changed with AI. It’s changed with the economy. Change is hard to accept, but it’s necessary for growth. 

Two words keep coming to mind: Community & Customization

Most entrepreneurs I come across don’t have community. They are the first in the family, and have no one to lean on for business support. Their friends are no help because they don’t get it. All and all they feel very alone and I want to change that.

Most new and existing beauty entrepreneurs are looking for product customization these days, whether that’s through a base formula or working together 1:1. I don’t have my products set up as such right now, and I want to change that.

So that’s where I’m at. I’m starting over with a new focus. It’s going to be different. I’m going to lose some people, and that’s okay. It’s going to take work to rebuild and change directions. I’ll plan to mess up along the way because I’m not perfect. I’m excited and scared because I don’t know what the future holds. I just know I need to start over. 

I want to continue to share this journey with you, and I hope it encourages you wherever you are in your business.
