What Is Contract Manufacturing?
This is a service for clients who already have their own formula and need someone to produce it. We're not developing your formula from scratch; we're bringing the one you already own into production, at scale, ready for your shelf.
Why It Works
Our low minimums make it accessible for smaller businesses that don't want to commit to the large volumes bigger manufacturers require. We're able to make small adjustments to your formula if something needs fine-tuning, and if you'd like to explore variations, we can produce multiple samples so you can compare and decide. We also flag common mistakes we see with packaging and other production details along the way.
What To Know Before You Apply
Is Your Product a Fit?
We evaluate every formula on a case by case basis before agreeing to manufacture it, based on ingredients, process, and complexity. This service is for a formula you have already developed and finalized, not a product idea or concept. We're glad to make small adjustments and produce multiple samples if you'd like to compare variations, but we do not build or develop formulas from scratch. We'll let you know after reviewing your intake form whether we can move forward.
Ingredient Sourcing
We can accommodate your preference on ingredient sourcing. If you'd like to provide the ingredients for your formula, we're happy to work with what you send. If you'd prefer we source them for you, we can handle that as well. We'll confirm this together once we've reviewed your formula and discussed your project.
How It Works
We treat this as a partnership from the start, which is why every project begins with a real look at your formula before anything is produced in full batch.

Share your product type, formula details, ingredient sourcing preference, batch size, quantity needs, and timeline. This helps us understand your project before anything is scheduled.
We'll follow up by email.
We review every intake form personally. If we feel this could be a good partnership, we'll email you to schedule a Production Planning Call.
Production Planning Call.
We'll talk through your formula, sourcing, timeline, and any recommendations we have before moving into sampling. Please note the Production Planning Call has a fee of $75.
Test batch.
A test batch is always required before full production. This is where we can also tweak your formula and offer recommendations based on your goals. Test batch pricing depends on your specific formula and is provided after your Production Planning Call.
Production run.
Once the test batch is approved, we move into production.
Our Production Minimum
Our minimum order for production is 1 gallon or 50 units for private label. A test batch is always required before we move into production, confirming your formula works at a manufacturing scale and giving you a finished sample to review before committing to a full run.
Production Details
Payment
Production orders require a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due before your order ships.
Timeline
Test batches typically take 1 to 2 weeks. Production runs typically take 2 to 4 weeks, depending on order size.
Shipping
Shipping costs for your finished order are covered by you. Orders are shipped once completed.
Reorders
Once we've manufactured your product, reordering the same formula skips the intake form and Production Planning Call entirely. If you'd like to update your formula, a new Production Planning Call may be required.
One thing to know: This is not a formula development service. We produce what you already have, refined along the way. If you need a formula built from scratch, this isn't the right service for you.
What's Not Included
- We do not develop formulas from scratch. You bring the formula, we produce it.
- We do not provide IFRA documentation. This is generated at the raw material level by ingredient suppliers, not by us.
- We do not provide safety assessments or microbial and preservative testing. Any required product testing or safety documentation is your responsibility to obtain.
- We do not design logos or labels. If you provide labels, we can apply them for an additional fee based on size and complexity.
- Products ship without our branding. This is your product, under your business name.
