Warning: Do not let ChatGPT REPLACE YOU

Warning: Do not let ChatGPT REPLACE YOU

Hey Beauty Boss,

I hope you were able to craft your elevator pitch from last week and upload some brand awareness content. If you missed last week, click here to read the message.

This week, I want to share with you a few tips for using AI in your business:
  1. When using AI, it’s only going to give you as much info as you feed it. One of the things I like to end my prompt with is “let me know if there is anything else you need to know before answering,” or “what questions do you have for me before generating a response.” Usually, they will ask you a list of questions to answer so they can prepare a more thought-out response.

  2. I don’t know if you have noticed this, but AI tends to give some robotic responses. One thing I like to respond with is “make this more human, remove any dashes or robotic tone to make it sound more like my voice.” Typically, it generates something better and I’ll still ask again to make it more human. You don’t want to create email responses or website copy that sounds robotic.

  3. Use AI to replace research and analyze data. Do not let AI replace you. Do not use AI to replace your creativity and your brand personality.

  4. Do not treat AI like it’s the end-all, be-all. It is a resource. It’s a way to get your time back (or, unfortunately, waste time for some) so that you can focus on improving and growing your business. With that being said, AI is not 100% accurate. You have to review everything because it does make mistakes.

  5. Do not let AI convince you that it knows your business better than you. There have been several times when AI has told me to do things that just don’t align, or suggested discontinuing things I knew I needed. This piggybacks off #4, and is why #3 is crucial. You need to know your business and know the direction you want to go. Let AI work for you, not the other way around. You are the business owner, and you make the final decisions.
I hope these tips were helpful.

Lastly, I want to share an update with you. I've been hosting monthly office hours on zoom but I'm also going to be hosting office hours once a week on Instagram. I plan to go live once during the week (most likely Wednesday afternoons) for 30 minutes. I'll be going into more depth on the Beyond Skincare weekly email topic as well as answering questions. I hope to see you there. If you aren't following my Instagram account, the link is at the bottom of this email.

Have a great week!

With love,
