Questions to Ask as we Wrap Up 2025

Hey Beauty Boss,
 
It’s almost the end of 2025. I know there is a lot to do with Black Friday and Christmas coming up, but we need to make time to ask ourselves these important questions to help us plan for next year. Our goal is to think like a CEO, not as a hobbyist. Our businesses should be purposeful and profitable. 
 
This is not an exhaustive list, but it serves as a starting point:

What is our profit margin? 
What was our primary source of marketing?
How many new customers did we acquire?
What is our customer retention rate?
What products sold the most? Which ones were the most profitable? 
Where are most of our expenses going, and is that driving income?
Where are we receiving most of our traffic?  
What is our conversion rate compared to last year?
Are there any holes in our sales funnel? How can we fix these?
Which systems broke (or were weak) when I got busy?
What are my goals for next year? (does not need to be financial goals)
